Moroccan potash development company
Development of a Low Capital Cost, High Margin Potash Mine

With estimated historical spend of US$20 million; 136 drill holes for c. 85,000m and a 1974 PFS.
Significant JORC Resource of 537Mt @ 9.24% K2O and strong exploration potential.
US$525 million, bottom quartile capital intensity per tonne of product, less than half of the global peer average.
KMP boosts the project's economics, increasing the post-tax NPV8 to US$2.2 billion and post-tax IRR to 40%.
KMP reduces water consumption by 50% and process water by 60% compared with the 2020 Feasibility Study.
KMP turns brine waste into additional slow-release fertilisers: struvite, vivianite, and by-products of salt and ammonium chloride.
Emmerson's primary focus is developing the Khemisset Potash Project located in Northern Morocco. The project has a large JORC Resource Estimate (2019) of 537Mt @ 9.24% K2O and significant exploration potential with an accelerated development pathway.
The Feasibility Study completed by Golder Associates confirmed that Khemisset has the potential to be a world class, low capital cost, high margin potash mine, a very rare asset in the industry.
Emmerson has also developed the Khemisset Multi-Mineral Process (KMP), which treats magnesium and iron-rich brines to create struvite and vivianite, high-value slow-release fertilisers, alongside by-products of salt and ammonium chloride.
